Lowlander HD 150 MK2

The new Lowlander 150 Heavy duty model, mark 2 is the next generation of rear discharge manure spreader. Superceding the original HD150, it encompasses many new features differentiating it from other alternatives available on the market today.

Designed for continuous use in the most arduous of conditions, it’s capabilities reflect the exacting requirements of the contracting sector.

The spreader incorporates elements of the Lowlander Wide Body range, specifically the renowned twin vertical 1m diameter auger spread mechanism, capable of achieving a very fine and even spread of up to 16m in width without the need for a spinner deck.

The augers, which are dynamically balanced rotate at 376rpm generating a peripheral speed of approximately 45mph to achieve excellent shredding characteristics. Rotating on a cushioned drive, any shocks are also noticeably reduced.

Despite housing the large augers, the overall width of the machine has been constrained to less than 3 metres to ensure hassle free road use. The actual internal width of the spreader is 1.6m although the design allows for fitment of an extra wide guillotine slurry door measuring 1930mm to help eliminate restrictive bottlenecks.
